Cheryl Chow Court is located in Ballard, one of the most livable and walk-able neighborhoods in Seattle, near Ballard Commons, three grocery stores, the public library, Swedish Medical Center, transit, and retail. Amenities include library with internet-enabled computers, large community room, patio garden, roof garden, onsite laundry, and roll-in showers. The building is named in honor of former Seattle City Councilmember and homeless advocate Cheryl Chow.
Units: 50 studio and 1-bedroom units for homeless and low-income seniors.
Eligibility: Cheryl Chow Court serves seniors 62 and older making 50% or less of Area Median Income (AMI). The residents pay no more than 30% of their income in rent. Five units are set aside for homeless seniors. All applicants are screened for eligibility.
